Complete Stripe Verification

Click "Add Bank Details And Verify Identity" which sends you to Stripe.

Provide required information and banking details to Stripe.

Once completed, click the "Return to Fakra" at the top left corner.

Click "Yes I Verified successfully".

If an item is purchased, plan to deliver it when you reach your destination.

Arrange to meet the buyer at a public spot and create a unique code for the transaction.

What to Sell
Fakra allows our sellers to list and sell items they can fit in their carry-on luggage during their travel. Items should follow all TSA regulations. Below are some recommended products you may list on Fakra. Sellers may also select from items potential Fakra buyers request on the "Customer Requested Items" page.
Terms and Conditions to Sell
Welcome to Fakra! Please carefully read and understand the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms") before using our mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the Fakra App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using the App.
1. Compliance with TSA Guidelines:
1.1. Legal Obligation: Users must ensure that all items listed and sold on Fakra comply with the guidelines set by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
1.2. Consequences of Non-Compliance: Failure to adhere to TSA guidelines may result in legal consequences, including fines, penalties, or legal action by the TSA.
1.3. Ongoing Compliance: Users are responsible for regularly checking and staying informed about TSA guidelines through the official TSA website.
2. Duty of Care During Transit:
2.1. Legal Responsibility: Sellers assume a legal duty of care for buyers' items throughout the entire journey, from shipping to delivery.
2.2. Insurance: Sellers are encouraged to obtain insurance coverage for items in transit to mitigate potential legal liabilities in case of loss, damage, or theft.
2.3. Contractual Agreement: Sellers and buyers acknowledge and agree to the terms related to the duty of care in the sales agreement.
3. Compliance with Customs Regulations:
3.1. Legal Requirement: Users must comply with the customs regulations of the destination for shipping items internationally.
3.2. Duties And Taxes Requirements: By registering on this app, the user hereby undertakes that they shall comply with all their tax obligations imposed by the revenue authority of a destination country or territory where the goods shall be sold. For the avoidance of doubt, the user further undertakes to adhere to any disclosure obligations including but not limited to the declaration of commercial goods at the airport of any destination country and the declaration of the value of the item for tax and/or duty purposes.
3.3. Legal Consequences: Non-compliance with customs laws may lead to legal consequences, including the confiscation of goods, fines, or criminal charges.
3.4. Documentation: Users must maintain accurate documentation of item contents and adherence to customs regulations.
4. Indemnity:
4.1. The user hereby agrees to protect, defend, hold harmless, and indemnify Fakra Consulting Group Ghana Limited/Fakra LLC, its subsidiaries, and its respective successors, assigns, directors, officers, employees, agents, shareholders and affiliates from and against all claims, demands, actions, suits, damages, liabilities, losses, settlements, judgments, costs, and expenses by the revenue authority of a destination country, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, actually or allegedly, directly or indirectly, arising out of or related to :

any breach of the passenger obligations imposed on the user by the revenue authority at the Airport for the declaration of commercial goods

any evasion or non-payment of any tax obligation or excise duty imposed by the revenue authority on the user items to be displayed on the app;

any third-party Claims which arise out of, relate to, or result from any act or omission of the user.
4.2. For the purposes of clause (4.1) above, the user agrees to the release of their data to the revenue authority in case of any action brought by the Authority against the company for the acts and/or omission of the user.
5. Timely Delivery Commitment:
5.1. Contractual Obligation: Sellers commit to delivering items to buyers within the agreed-upon timeframe, as specified in the sales agreement.
5.2. Legal Consequences: Failure to fulfill the contractual delivery obligation may result in legal action, including breach of contract claims.
5.3. Communication: Sellers must communicate transparently with buyers regarding delivery timelines and provide timely updates.
6. In-Person Transactions Safety Measures:
6.1. Fakra's Limited Responsibility for Safety:
6.1.1. Fakra emphasizes the importance of safety during in-person transactions and encourages users to prioritize their well-being.
6.1.2. Users acknowledge that Fakra is a platform facilitating transactions and does not bear direct responsibility for users' safety during in-person meetings.
6.1.3. While Fakra provides guidelines for safe transactions, users understand and agree that they assume personal responsibility for their safety and security during in-person interactions.
6.1.4. Fakra does not conduct background checks on users, and users are responsible for verifying the identity and credibility of the counterparty before engaging in face-to-face transactions.
6.1.5. Users agree to exercise caution, meet in public locations, and adhere to local laws and regulations governing in-person transactions.
6.1.6. In the event of any disputes or safety concerns arising from in-person transactions, users agree to resolve such matters independently, and Fakra shall not be held liable for any resulting damages or losses.
6.1.7. By using Fakra for in-person transactions, users expressly acknowledge and accept the limitations of Fakra's responsibility for their safety, understanding that Fakra serves as a platform for connecting buyers and sellers rather than guaranteeing personal security.
6.1.8. Fakra reserves the right to take appropriate measures, including suspension or termination of accounts, in response to users' non-compliance with safety guidelines or engaging in activities that pose risks to the community.
6.2. Legal Compliance: Sellers must adhere to local laws governing face-to-face transactions, ensuring legal compliance in public spaces.
6.3. Safe Locations and Times: In-person meetings should be arranged in public locations between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for safety reasons.
6.4. Documentation of Arrangements: Sellers should maintain records of communication and arrangements for in-person transactions.
7. General Provisions:
7.1. Modification of Terms: Fakra reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of changes, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
7.2. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of a traveler’s destination country, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
